Satin Matte Series

The Satin/Matte Series is a color paint protection film range designed to combine solid-color customization with everyday paint protection. Satin provides a gentle sheen that follows the vehicle’s contours, while matte softens reflections for a more muted, understated appearance.

Built with aliphatic TPU, encapsulated color layers, and a hydrophilic, self-healing HYPEROPTICOAT topcoat, the Satin/Matte Series helps protect painted surfaces against stone chips, light scratches, and environmental contaminants. It supports both dry and wet installation, with air-release adhesive and supplied CONERGIES TackEase wipes to assist dry application.

Product Highlights
Rich colors in satin and matte finishes create a refined, understated appearance for complete vehicle transformations.
Designed to resemble satin or matte paint, with a smooth surface and even visual texture.
The HYPEROPTICOAT topcoat encourages water to spread across the surface and allows light surface scratches and swirl marks to recover with heat.
Color layers sit between two aliphatic TPU layers, combining the decorative finish with a flexible protective structure.
Helps protect painted surfaces against stone chips, light scratches, and environmental contaminants during everyday driving.
Supports controlled application and secure bonding, with air-release channels that help release trapped air during dry installation.
Supports both application methods, allowing installers to select an approach suited to the panel shape and installation conditions.
Supplied CONERGIES TackEase wipes assist dry installation by temporarily reducing initial tack on suitable panel areas.
Flexible TPU supports application across curved and complex panels. Controlled stretching and tension management help maintain a consistent finish.
Supported by the CONERGIES limited warranty, subject to the applicable product, region, installation, and care requirements.
Film Structure
The film is built using a multi-layer PPF architecture designed for both protection and aesthetics.

Satin Matte Series FAQs

How do satin and matte finishes look different on a vehicle?

Satin retains a soft sheen that follows the shape of the panels. Matte diffuses more reflection, so the color appears flatter. Show both finishes on a physical sample in daylight and workshop lighting before the customer approves a shade.

When should a shop offer this series instead of clear matte PPF?

Offer satin or matte color PPF when the customer wants to change the visible color. Clear matte PPF changes the sheen while leaving the original paint color visible. Confirm which result the customer expects before preparing the quote.

Can we install one satin or matte color on selected panels?

Yes, but the transition to uncovered paint will be visible. Quote complete panels where possible, and agree on the color boundary, joins, and wrapped edges before cutting the film.

Can a marked satin or matte surface be polished?

Do not treat it like gloss paint. Abrasive or gloss-enhancing products can leave a shiny patch. Inspect the mark first, then follow the care guidance for the selected film; damage that changes the finish may call for a panel replacement.
