DiamondClear Reserve is a 9.5 mil clear paint protection film designed to provide added protective thickness while maintaining optical clarity and a high-gloss finish. Its thicker construction makes it well suited to performance vehicles, off-road use, and panels exposed to frequent road debris and abrasion.
Engineered with CT·X optical-grade TPU and a hydrophilic, self-healing CRYSTALIX nano coating, DiamondClear Reserve enhances the depth and gloss of the original paint while helping reduce the appearance of water spots. It helps protect painted surfaces against stone chips, light scratches, and environmental contaminants while maintaining clarity under outdoor exposure.

DiamondClear Reserve is the 9.5 mil option in the Diamond Series, compared with 8.5 mil for DiamondClear Plus and 7.5 mil for DiamondClear. All three provide a clear, high-gloss finish, with Reserve offering the thickest construction in the range.
DiamondClear Reserve is designed for demanding applications, including performance vehicles and off-road use, where protection against stone impacts and road debris is a priority. Its thicker construction provides a protective barrier, but does not make the film or underlying paint immune to damage.
DiamondClear Reserve is engineered to combine its thicker construction with high optical clarity and minimal surface texture. Its clear, high-gloss finish enhances the appearance of the original paint while keeping the film’s own orange-peel texture to a minimum.
DiamondClear Reserve features a hydrophilic topcoat, which encourages water to spread across the surface rather than form tight beads. For customers who prefer a water-beading finish, DiamondClear Hydro is the hydrophobic alternative in the Diamond Series, with a thickness of 7.5 mil.
DiamondClear Reserve’s heat-responsive topcoat allows light surface scratches and swirl marks to recover. Self-healing applies to superficial marks in the coating, not deep cuts, punctures or damage to the underlying paint. The additional film thickness does not extend self-healing to deeper damage.
