The Color Shift Series changes its visible tone as the viewing angle and light change. The Laser Series is intended for a prismatic, rainbow-like highlight.
The visible tone changes with lighting, viewing angle, and panel shape. Show your customer a physical sample in daylight and workshop light, ideally against the vehicle itself. Record the approved product and color before ordering film.
Check the selected finish’s installation guidance, then plan panel layout, film orientation, and areas that need substantial stretching. Test the appearance on a curved panel before committing to cuts for adjoining panels. This helps the shift look intentional across the finished vehicle.
A panel can be re-filmed, but a perfect visual match should not be promised. Keep the product code and roll or batch details from the original job, then compare replacement film against the installed panels in more than one light condition before proceeding.
Inspect the repair first. The paint must be fully cured and firmly bonded before film is applied; a previous repair can also affect removal risk. Record the panel’s condition and discuss any concerns with the customer before accepting the job.
